Job Description	:	Ariba Technologies India Pvt Ltd Trainee Software Engineer (Freshers - 2009, 2010 Batch) Job Description : Opportunity: This position will be on probation for a period of 06 months. Based on performance, the role will be confirmed. You will be required to appear for a written test, if shortlisted. Responsibilities : * Uses their strong OO design and development skills, and strong analytical skills as a individual contributor developing new features and extensions to Ariba's products * Takes ownership of features * UI to the backend * definition through delivery Desired Profile : Knowledge and Skills : Bachelors or Master's Degree in Computer Science/equivalent with minimum of 75% and above only Excellent Core Java skill is a must for this position. Good understanding of object-oriented methodologies. Strong programming skills, as well as the ability to read and code review complex code bases written by others Excellent verbal and written communications skills Desire to work in fast paced, small teams that follow flexible, adaptive methodologies Understanding of current data mining technologies and familiarity with probabilistic machine learning methods Exposure to web services, J2EE and swing knowledge is a plus.
