In India, we have offices at Bangalore, This is regarding an opening with HP in Bangalore location Job type: Contract to hire (3 to 6 month) Job Description: 3 to 6yrs The resource will work on development & support for the decision support application built on Microsoft Business Development Studio. He / She needs to have good working knowledge on the following technologies: a. Microsoft SQL Server 2008 programming & related services SSIS, SSAS & SSRS - MUST b. Microsoft SharePoint - preferred c. Microsoft Performance Point Server – added advantage Responsibility: Development: 1. Develop BI solutions that include reporting & analytical tools on Microsoft technologies 2. Design and develop ETLs to consolidate data from multiple sources 3. Develop data warehouse for consumption & creation of cubes 4. Design & develop automation solutions for adhoc reporting and data consolidation requirements. Support: 5. Provide technical resolution for application tickets raised 6. Monitor job streams and take corrective / preventive actions to ensure all jobs run successfully and weekly reports are published on time. 7. Update application issues and data availability status 8. Database Maintenance / Backup Monitoring 9. Coordinate with change / release management team to make any code changes 10. Maintain and update the VSS 11. Maintain and update system journal if any software updates are performed on the application environment.
