Job Description:



Business/ Customer Perspective

§ Act as a SPOC for all assigned BD tasks

§ Manage multiple bids at a time

§ Represent GSC in discussion meetings with internal stakeholders and Vertical teams

§ Understand client requirements (RFP/ RFI) and map them to IT IS services; identify missing information and frame appropriate queries to capture the missing information

§ Work with SMEs/ Soln. Architect on building the response to the RFP/ RFI/ proposal

§ Liaison with stakeholders – IT Infrastructure Services internal teams (CPS, TCG, Delivery, etc.) and Vertical

§ Detailing and articulation of solutions (response to RFPs/ RFIs/ unsolicited bids, etc) and ensure completeness of the same with regard to content and form

§ Independently work on pricing models and profitability sheets

§ Lead ISPA assignments – overall responsibility of data collection, analysis, recommendation and presentation

§ Participate in Due Diligence and Transition exercises

§ Assist the Solution Architects in conducting solution identification workshops for customers

§ Creation of customer presentations and overall client visit management

§ Independently carry out industry research on IT Infrastructure Services domain

§ Contribute to Practice initiatives – knowledge repository, defining/ streamlining processes, recruitment, etc.

§ Proactive participation in developing reusable assets and knowledge management

Job Description:




1. Solution design and architecture for Infrastructure Outsourcing opportunities across:
> Effort estimates, SLA definition, onsite/ offshore team composition, service coverage, engineer profiling etc across server,
storage, database, middleware, helpdesk, messaging and other similar infrastructure platforms/ technologies
> Governance and management structures for ongoing operational support
> Definition of transition and transformation roadmaps based on services in scope
> Manage client discussions on positioning and defending Cognizant solutions
> Bid Management
> Lead bid management efforts for RFP’s/ RFI’s globally
> Advice/ support bid management teams on financial constructs and proposal creation
> Coordinate with enabling teams(technical architects, delivery managers etc) for ensuring a integrated bid to the client
> Facilitate deal reviews with senior management for deal qualification and delivery feasibility assessment
> Handle workshops with the client and/or analyst communication across requirement gathering, solution modeling and SOW
creation
> Liaise with partners (such as hosting and cloud service providers) and OEM’s (Microsoft, HP etc)
> Customer-facing support with Cognizant sales team(s), partners, and customers in positioning IT IS services. > Global experience
managing Infrastructure Outsourcing bids
> Client facing experience preferably at CIO/ CXO levels
> 5+ years of pre-sales technical support, with good understanding of Infrastructure technologies (covering the breadth of
technologies).
> Have ability to understand customer pain points, requirements and translate these into a winning solution approach.
> Have ability to take salient features of our solution approach and communicate the business value to our customers.
