The group delivers enterprise level Remote Management solutions to broad base of customers including major server OEMs. Our product - specialized embedded firmware running on service processors (SPs) deployed in servers, allows complete out-of-band management, remote OS deployment and run-time system health monitoring. The embedded component is equipped in Java based client applications for KVM(Keyboard-Video-Mouse) Redirection and VM(Virtual Media). Web based GUI is used for remote access and configuration of the server and management solution itself. • + years of experience in embedded C/C++ development • 3+ years in a customer-facing software development role • Excellent written and verbal communications since this position also serves as the support liaison between company and customer • Linux kernel, driver development and porting experience • Firmware and hardware troubleshooting experience • Board bring-up of embedded ASICs and silicon evaluation boards • Technical hardware specifications knowledge • Languages required: - ANSI C (gcc) - C++ - Make - Subversion • Experience with Linux IDE’s and debuggers • Strong test capability to ensure that firmware produced is well-tested and meets customer requirements for quality and performance.
